/ Financial Monitoring...
Knowing how much an item or procedure costs, translates directly into cost benefit. Financial monitoring will assist you in finding areas that could benefit from improvement.
Financial monitoring begins with breaking expenses down into cost of production units. Cost of production units are expressed in cost per cwt milk and cost per head. From this point, high and low trends can be identified. Reporting is typically performed monthly or quarterly and a sample report follows.
